when fros writes

hey, i havent been at ease for the past few weeks. i have this doubt abt myself and whether i coull go through it.

i admit that i was stupid and rushing into things. bt then again, i did what i shoud do. can i blame myself? not exactly.

i am now in black hole and i just hope that it wont take me forever to get out of it.

for the mean time, let's enjoy parteyyy in the usa! and please take note i was never a fan of miley cyrus. i just need some energy to shake my booty!

..walk the talk..

am bk nw in kb. tks to all who have been very welcoming everytime i go thr. u guys r surely the best of people in the werld. i cant recall the last time i stayed up all nite chit chatting over glasses of teh tarik, cham tea, bottled water and wat not. we ended up lepaking at hassan's having tosei and dismissed at abt 6am. when we can no longer talk straight.
i also had the conversation i always have with couz jeff. we always dream of having a kelantanese themed cafe by the name Cik Siti's Cafe. It might nt be a classy as Madam Kwan's or Kelantan Delights bt we want it to be a commercial one and accessible to all. meaning? meaning tok mahal lah but still classy!
couz jeff and i have done the costing and the logo's(wau bulae) and what left is the layout. before we can go to the details, like hiring jongkako as what i would like to call it. jongkako is equivalent to crew or barista. we have also recognized a few uniforms to make it kelantanese enough. i just want the shop to be the opening doors to more wonders of kelantan. with that in mind, i hope i can integrate the things needed to serve the vision. i really hope year 2010 is the most opportune time to make a comeback in cyberjaya. cyberjaya provides the most beautiful contradiction to the food that we will serve. Its like tradition embraces chic in Cik Siti's Cafe.
I have also came out with our first campaign tagline(before we can afford to hire a professional one).
"When Nasi Dagang Dreams, She Dreams of Cik Siti's Cafe"
nota kaki:
01. Cik Siti Cafe had to close operations couple of years back eventhough we are making money. it was us who fail to appreciate the potential at that time.
02. Cik Siti Wan Kembang is one of the most significant icon of kelantan. we want to honor our grandma who is the symbol of strength in our family. rite couz?
03. I stayed with grandma until im 17yo.
below is the conversation excerpt wif couz jeff:
...me: hehehe owh kopek as in peel. ingat kopek breast yes. why nt. she can do tat as and when she likes. she's the one tat makes everything happens
Jaffrin: tu lah then amik gambo letak dekat kedai hehe that would be the biggest frame in black and white
me: i agree with u couz. i really miss her.
Jaffrin: then kito dua by her side buat muka katun hehe
me: heheh. buat muka dennis the menace
Jaffrin: hahaha agreed
me: buat nk cekik dia haaaa
Jaffrin: sebab cute dooh
me: tu lah. uming ni cute gilo. heeee anyways i dun understand on the capex tu couz
Jaffrin: ok erm what is it that u need to know?....

live.study.werk.play

occay, giving title to a post is almost my biggest turn off in writing a blog. you might wonder where the h3ll does tat come from, well it's the campaign tagline for cyberjaya (and i duno who's the developer now. setia haruman or EMKAY?). anyway i think i have promoted cyberjaya often enough for the past few days lets go to something that might be useful to share. ok the story goes like this.

once upon a time there were 3 boys who enjoy each other's company in the office. bt one had left for other opportunity bt they met again again after few months of nt seeing each other in person. so the 3 frens decided to attend a miniskirt teh tarik session in the hippest plc in cyberjaya (and that is prima avenue. rite). the topics ranging as wide as the size of the recent landslide in rawang. starting from how's life going to a im buying a wish to how come the ximut tea taste weird today to nailing an interview. owh! apparently someone is opening himself for better opportunities.

we flashback to time when all of us stayed in our Aquarium Office. How I was labelled *13PG* kisser for sending thank you cards to my interviewers. i believe that it works and it has been proven bt then again, what u said during the interview must be a maxim of quality. fz shared about how his friend gt the opportunity to work for air "now everybody can fly" asia's c.e.o by providing power resume with power title. Hah power title? Gano tue? I asked.

since they are bloggers, they always love to read the blogs and one of it belongs to sir tony fernandez and he mentioned in his blog that he needs a personal assistant(tat's wat fz said if i recalled it correctly). so both fz and his fren are excited abt it and started to personalize their resumes and send it to sir tony fernandez. being a well educated lad, both of them tried to catch tony's attention by putting powerful email title. fz punt something like.. errr i cant remember(nmpk sgt ko punya title nt catchy enough mate!) and fz fren's title sounds something like If I Get This Job, I Treat You to a Teh Tarik & Roti Canai. And the rest was history. He got the job and he jumped quite high as compared to his previous job. bravo!

ok gtg nw. nite2

fros takes cyberjaya

i always feel the sense of belonging whenever i come across the word "cyberjaya" nt because i was borned here nor brought up here bt simply because this is the city i started my career. letting go cyberjaya wasnt the rite decision bt i had to leave for health reason. coming back here today has surely sparked the old memories to live especially wen my colleagues mentioned how fun it was werking together. and to be honest, i miss them all so much. the werking environment was so much different here to compare to my current one i guess education plays a vital role of how people think and react to situation. anyway tat is not i feel like writing today.

im writing about inspiration & motivation from my point of view.

life to me is full of inspiration, depending on how u want to see things. i can be easily inpired from simple thing such as seeing ladies setting up a both for their nasi dagang early in the morning. they must have been motivated to do that because they noe at the end of the day, they'll make a lot of money. yes. i cant deny monetary reward is one of my major motivation. getting salary after a month of hard werk is rewarding and im sure im not alone. bt then again there is a period of time when i think money is not the primary motivation. fun, international werking society, intelligence, to name a few, are the qualities tat contribute to my higher motivation. in werk. i remember my second last job, even though the salary is 1/3 of what im getting now i werk very long hours nt because the management asked me too bt because of my passion towards my work. tat is the truth of how my motivation can drive me to do things tat i never thought i can do. and im sure many people will do the same thing.

seeing the old office earlier today and listening to stories of my former colleague is like a slap to my face. aaah i duno. myb its my nature, never satisfied wif wat i have and always believe grass is greener on the side of the fence. wat i dun want to think is, my current position is better than many others.

ok. im going to reminisce the memories i have of cyberjaya by walking for a short while getting inspired by the picturesque night landscape of perdana lakeview, cyberjaya. alah hujan pulak :p

ok i just watch tv then.

cya later mate!

attending bob's bbq dinner

yey, going to attend bbq dinner tonight at bob's. im meeting friends that i havent met for quite sometime esp luqman. prof aziz and the wife supposed to be there as well bt he has to pass as he has to entertain an italian professor who is in kb for uni related visit.

anyway, attending social gathering whether family gathering, office gathering, or friends gathering, are always fun and great way of doing networking. i always attend and leave as and when i like (especially if i feel forced to). here, allow me to elaborate on the gathering as per my definition:

family gathering:
is the event organised by my own family/close family members. i wouldnt mind staying from the preparation phase until post gathering event.

office gatherings:
this gathering is the gathering i would normally come and leave as and when i want. in the office, i dun hef many gud friends whom i can spend much time together. only selected people. myb 5 to 7 pax. the rest? they are friengers to me. yes. friengers. not quite friend but nt quite stranger.

friends gathering:
this gathering is the type of gathering im looking forward to now.

i would to share a gathering tat i gt trapped. don't ever join a gathering(you are not interested) if the venue is on boat. yes! i was trapped in putrajaya cruise(i followed this childhood fren of mind) for an event i dun understand and i feel like jumping out of the boat. tat my friend, is the experience tat wasnt pleasant and hope u cn share urs too!

ok, i better get ready for tonight's bbq. got friends to meet.

hello miss hello miss yenna porenggek

time is really catching up. for sometime now, i have not had a real weekend. it's always half weekend or 1/4 weekend. but i wont complaint about it. im just grateful for having the opportunity to be in kelantan.

room:
but i cant lie there's a small part of me missing my old room in the 7th floor of desaminium rimba in equine park. wat i love most about the room was, the room was facing the mountain? not quite mountain but it's a jungle high enough to be called mountain. hue hue hue.

i start my day as early as 6am. wakes up at 6 for prayer before going to work. i normally leave at 7am and i'll be in the office 20mins later.

then i moved to perdana lakeview with cousin. i love my roooommm so muchhhh! how i wish i afford to have bedroom overlooking the putra bridge crossing the lake that divides putrajaya and cyberjaya.

werk:
wen i was werking in sunway medical centre i would be already on the road at 6am. for i have to be in sbux by 7am. i would have my brakfast at the hospital cafeteria. i love the nasi lemak. and i would also take one croissant and share with my opening barista(s). see i dun eat alone :p sori fandy(my ex-store manager)

then i moved to sbux jusco cheras selatan: i dun remember how long was i werking thr. oh ya, before tat i was werking in sbux kajang. i love the partners so much. Su May, Yen, Aizad and Satria Jihadi Kamari(yaya). to name a few.

then in cgoc, i normally drop by petronas to buy nasi lemak and susu. before going to the office. or if i dun hef time i would text my superb indonesian fren, freddi to buy me my nasi lemak and milk.

off day:
i normally spend half day at home doing my dirty laundry before going out to meet friends. since my off days are on friday and saturday(yes just like in kelantan), i would have my friday prayer in kl or most of the time in dengkil. but my favorite mosque for friday prayer is masjid tudm in subang. errr not exactly subang bt u8, shah alam.

well tat was before, now i enjoy myself being in kb. with air "now everyone can fly" asia, i can just buy a ticket to kl if i need to be in kl.

nota kaki:
01. sorry abt this boring posting. ajaib sungguh perasaan. walaupun dah tinggal lama tp kade2 mari tringat jugok. sori.
02. sori tat the title has nothing to do with my posting :p (actually there's a story behind the title)

lulus

after continuous certification werk to others under my FRoS Certified brand, I, myself received certification from boss. thank u big boss.

i always gt this impression tat i couldnt last long here in kb. sori to dissappoint u acap bt it has been more than 4 months since i made up my mind and sacrificed the comfort in cyberjaya for a simple life in kota bharu. i also had a tiny doubt on my own capabilities.

few weeks back i had this thought at the back of my head asking myself whether im making the rite decision or otherwise. there is a point when i almost give up and feel like going where nobody could detect me for a while until i come back.

well, i remember kak gina's book, next stop:corner office and how different execs in kb and execs when i was in cgoc. and im still adjusting to it.

the thought of giving up however was almost out of my head after i managed to complete and impressed big boss (i think). well i must say nt many ppl are willing to wake-up at 4am getting ready for werk. drive abt 200km to pick up our guests. and today, my contemplating mind was given assurance that put a full stop to my doubt.

i am now qualified enough to be confirmed before my actual probation period ends. ya allah. thank you for your answer. i only wana be a great muslim tat set a gd example and enhance people's lives.

when i did my self-reflection of the earlier days in life, i'm confident to say this. if we are accepted in a community(werk, foster family, circle of fren) without a doubt, we are qualified enough to be in that circle. how we carry ourselves in that circle is the aspect we need to focus to.

with that i end my post for now. hope to write again this weekend.

u cant believe wat u see

seeing is believing. rite.
gona talk about something serious tonight.
stay tuned.

saturday with bob (on friday)

yesterday was devastating as my request to join an organization was turned down. i was under qualified. duhhh but i embraced the fact and moved on. meeting prof however was a pleasant experience for i always admire academicians & intelligence among many other things.

i could never use phrase like "now we are talking about historical point of view" without getting "that look" from the person im talking to. and words like intrinsically, meritocracy, could never be in my daily conversation vocabularies. uhhhh

anyway, prof aziz mentioned yesterday about the overdose of islamic architecture of the new buildings in kota bharu(maybe kelantan) nowadays. he questioned the relevance of such theme to Kota Bharu - Bandaraya Islam(Kota Bharu - Islamic Metropolitan) landscape. islamic architecture is not all about dome, curve and minaret. i never thought of this but then, he said, the malay culture in kelantan is so rich and it is a loss if we didnt bring back then kelantanese malay architecture to the mainstream. it is unfair for the young kelantanese and young malaysians not being able to experience the authentic kelantanese malay architecture. i agreed. we are still muslims even if we use the kelantanese malay architecture. the "masjid china" in pengkalan kubor uses 100% chinese architecture and it is still a mosque as long as the principles do not go against the islamic laws. however it is only my opinion and if u have ur own arguments, pls share.
"Sultan Ismail Petra Silver Jubilee Mosque, the first Chinese-style mosque in malaysia situated in rantau panjang"

i can sense that prof. aziz is very kelantanese at heart. he expressed his concerns over the unrecorded kelantanese vocabularies that might go down the drain. this is where i started to talk. i told him, "prof, there are thousands of words that is being recorded in facebook's proud to be a kelantese group bulletin board" then prof said,"is it really?" me said"yes prof".

he also shared his experience about how kelantanese borrowed english/arabics werds. below are the werds i can remember:
1. gilo iseng : insane
2. saka: sugar(from the werd sakarin)
3. tumah: too much

bob(an american) also agreed. he said there is a werd for fireflies which is very different from pepatung but he cant remember wat anymore.

before i went back, i dropped at bob's to show him the proud to be a kelantanese group on facebook.

well i had quite an intellectual conversation yesterday evening. despite the frustration, life goes on. but this time with renewed bow. to become the best in what i do.

1. i recommended below's blogs to bob and prof. aziz

2. prof aziz is the head of architecture and heritage school of UMK. british educated and very intelligent prof.

..post mortem..

for an event, post mortem is done to find out wat could be done better nx time.
for a corpse, post mortem is done to find out the cause of death. erm.. let's nt go there.

anyway, i just glad tat big boss approved my impromptu leave today. wat a relief. at least for now i can take a deep breath and organize a few things for myself. i moved my micro hifi to my room.

alahhhh now i dun feel like writing pulak. i noe i dun update my blog as often as before now. its just hard for me to write if im not in the mood. the posting wouldnt sound appealing even to myself.

tomorrow life resumes as usual at the office and now its already midnite. well i just realized one sure thing. it will never ends as long as there is life. owning a business will not stop yourself from the same routine. u can however add spice to ur routine by rewarding urself. ok i better stop now. i hate to blog when i have to force myself.
